Pulmonary rehabilitation

Pulmonary rehabilitation as a specific therapy for chronic lung diseases has the aim of granting patients as much independence as possible through a reduction of the symptoms (e.g. dyspnea) and an increase in physical performance. At the beginning of the stay, the individual physical performance of the patient is clarified with an ergonomic evaluation together with an oxygen saturation measurement and the applicable training program, and the medical treatment is arranged accordingly.

At an ideal altitude of almost 1000 metres above sea level, specialist doctors and specially trained therapists at the Walenstadtberg Rehabilitation Centre will help you to regain your functional competence and improve your breathing function, allowing you to head back to your usual environment with lesser restrictions.
